The upgraded 38 mm S2C660 “Spike-to-Cut” stainless steel conical burrs (CNC-machined, 55–58 HRC) first chop beans then grind them, reducing fines for brighter clarity, better balance, and smoother extraction compared with basic ceramic grinders. A dual-bearing central shaft keeps the burrs aligned for more consistent results and smoother cranking, even with denser light-roast beans.
