Our Nicaraguan coffee is certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) as a “Shade Grown, Ethically Produced” coffee. The beans are sourced from smallholder farmers who grow their coffee under the protection of a natural canopy of trees. This helps to preserve the environment and provide a habitat for local wildlife. The beans are then roasted medium-dark to bring out cocoa, floral, and citrus tones. We recommend brewing this coffee using an espresso machine or French press. Enjoy!
